Step three:
Make another black rectangle, same size as step one and two.
Now add this Custom Pattern into your pattern list. You will need this when you set the pattern overlay settings.
Add the following layer styles: Pattern Overlay, Gradient Overlay.
Step four:
Create a new layer-set, name it navigation. This will be the template for the rest of navigation so it's important to create the layers in a seperate layer-set.
In a new layer, draw a #AAA496 round rectangle using the round rectangle tool with a radius of 20px for the round edges.
Add the following layer styles: Inner Glow, Color Overlay, Pattern Overlay, Gradient Overlay, Stroke.
Create a new layer and merge it with the round rectangle you created. Now rotate the rectangle through Edit > Rotation.
